From the beginning, NordicTrack has had an edge...the ability to combine technical innovations with finesse...yielding superior fitness movement that gets results. Sure, the novelty of home fitness skiers wore off a little, so the NordicTrack fitness company had to decide how to branch out from skiers. So they decided to expand into the area they knew best: smooth, low-impact exercise machines. That led to the release of a new line of ellipticals with that patented NordicTrack touch. With a second wind in the late 1990s, NordicTrack began to expand into other home fitness equipment, including it's now touted line of treadmills. Also, the NordicTrack offers an exercise bike model which is good value for money: NordicTrack SL 705 exercise bike. Today, the NordicTrack Fitness Company is a subsidiary of ICON Health & Fitness.
