My dad is addicted to smoking since last 20 years,
earlier it didn't had much effect but now when he is
50+ his cough level has considerably increased. He is
also willing to quit smoking, but he always ended up
smoking again. Can anyone help me find a proper guide
or procedure to quit smoking permanently?
Thanks in advance

Hi justinking,
I've quit smoking with a power of my will, and believe
me if your dad has not a mood to stop smoking cigarettes,
there is not medication that could help him.
I was smoker for more than 15 years. I've smoked 2
packs (40 cigarettes) per day and tried so many different
ways to quit smoking. For all that time I thought that
I really want to quit, but believe me deep inside me
I've never want it truly. Until one day my soon got
asthma and that was revolution in my life. I guit smoking
permanently.
So, I believe that a power of your will is the only
way to stop smoking permanently!

Ex-smoker, I agree with you with all my heart (and
power of my will ).
I have a little addition to your post. If you change
one of your habit, you should change some things that
are linked to that habit, such as drinking coffee, as
well as to change your usual daily rhythm. It is good
idea to go out to walk, every evening for insance. When
I've stoped smoking, I spent outhere 1 hour every evening
lightly walking. Also, I have a little store near my
house and I was buying something for "nibble"
while I am walking. And of course, you need a good company
to walk with you.

The initiative taken for the concern is very serious
and need an attention of every one. This is the concern
which exists in the society and needs to be eliminated
from the society as soon as possible.
