:: How to deal with a depressed person
Chase

Hallo,
I am living with someone who is depressed. It is the
person I love more than my life. I am trying to help
her as much as I know, but sometimes I feel like she
doesn't care for me, at all. It is very difficult to
stay when all your friends advice you to leave...
Sometimes I feel that her pull me down with her, sometimes
I hate her... How to deal with depressed person? Has
this story a happy end?

Hey, i know exactly what your saying. I am in the same
situation being dragged down by someone who is depressed
and it is really nerve wrecking. I am also borderline
depressed because of this. My only advice is not to
listen to anything you find online because there are
many different reasons and types of depression so there
is no one size fits all answer. I am trying to get an
appointment with a psychologist but i am really tight
on money right now so unfortunately im going to have
to wait a while but the best thing i can say is make
sure to show that you do love them but do not chase
them. As long as they know that there is someone chasing
them they will not realize and face their problems.
Although your affection will comfort them for the time
being in the long run you are better off just showing
that you love them but dont do too much. If i may i
would recomend that you also get a meeting with a psychologist
because they are the only certified ones who can tell
you how to deal with depression, and how to take care
of someone who has fallen to depression. I know it doesnt
help the pain but i hope this advice will help you cope
with your situation.

I'm living with someone who is very depressed. Right
now our financial situation is not so good (his nor
mines) and we both are struggling. I've been looking
for a job with no luck and he's just studying. He's
become such a different person now and its killing me.
I love him more that I can even say and I hate to see
him like this, what can I do to help him?
