I'm 52 years old male and I have been to surgery for my nose 35 years ago, but I have consequences.
My diagnose is deviation septinase (septal) (deviate nose partition) and after the operation I must use any medicaments especially nasal spray, and I use Flixonase already 5 to 8 years continuous.
For me is unclear should I make a break of consumption of the spray because I doubt that I have some consequences of taking the medicine for such a long time (I have pain in my bones).

Anyway, in my trying to give you more interesting answer than this above, here is some useful information about this medicine. Flixonase nasal spray contains the active ingredient fluticasone propionate. There are several brands that contain the same generic drug fluticasone, such as Flonase, Flovent, Flohale, Advair, Cutivate, Flixotide, Flunase and many other... It means, you can buy fluticasone propionate from several different manufacturers. It is not necesery to buy Flixonase, which is more expensive than some generic "no name" versions. There are several different forms of this drug, used for different purposes:

- Fluticasone Spray
- Fluticasone Inhaler
- Fluticasone Cream
- Fluticasone Ointment

All of these are corticosteroids.
