Hi,
I am confused a little bit with allergy terminology.
So, can you explain me what is an allergen, and what
is an antigen?
Thanks in advance...

Hi Cherry,
Let me try to explain these things: An allergen or antigen
is the same thing. These are just two names for the
same thing.
An allergen (antigen) is a substance that couses allergic
reaction of your body. In other words, allergic reactions
are caused by exposure to an antigen. If you have pollen
allergy, your immune response would be initiated by
exposures to your antigen - in this case it is pollen.
So, the best anti allergen solution for you would be
to avoid pollen...
Cheers,
Tommy

This is very nice and clear explanation Tommy, especially
this one about the best anti allergen .
You should reply more often here
So, when you mentioned it, does anybody knows is there
some anti-allergens for an allergen, and how can we
find and use them? I don't think on an "antidote"
that you are getting to allay allergic reaction when
it occur, but I mean on anti-allergen that can prevent
your allergic reaction at all. If you have pet allergy,
take the anti-allergen, relax and cuddle your beloved
pet, quietly.

Interesting question, Kira. It could be asked on the
other way. The question is, will your body build an
immunity if you always have a pet's hair in your pocket?
