I suffer of agoraphobia for 5 years. I am 24 hours, 7 days in a week at home. Forums like this are the only places where people like me can meet a new friends. But, agoraphobia is not my only problem. As the days pass I notice that I have more and more fears every day... I'm scared of being sick, of being alone, to lose my wife... I always think something horrible will happen. I'm thinking about this most of the time. I've heard the most of agoraphobics feel the same. What are your experiences?

I'm in the same way. Although my time at home has not been 5yrs. I was stuck inside for 2 years. I couldn't even go outside my front door or back for the 1st 6 months. I am still struggling with it. It all started with a traumatic car ride home when I was sick. I am terrified of throwing up. You could cut off my leg before I would throw up. I believe this is my reason for struggling with being able to leave my house. If you would like to chat more I know I would enjoy knowing I'm not just crazy or something.
